Phuket Info Forum

Phuket info is the largest and longest established Phuket Forum. Indeed until recently it had little or no competition to speak of.

It is sponsored by the Mai Thai bar in Soi Eric Phuket. I am not sure this means the forum is now owned by one bar or not. That would explain their heavy handed moderation of any businesses trying to promote on the board.

Started in 1999 it now boasts a huge membership (almost 39,000 at the time of writing) but never seems to have more than a handful of people actually online. Usually little more than 30 or 40 members at any time which is very small for a forum with such a large overall membership.

Consequently it moves very slowly. It is however still probably the best source of information about Phuket on the internet. I also provides good information on the islands closer to Phuket.
